Sharing:
Based on the logical deduction, sharing can be applied to all trades. The company vigorously protect intellectual property, in need of protection should be the jewel in the crown, rather than hide all of the company's intellectual property rights. If one hides the intellectual property with a vengeance, the company can not collaborate effectively. The best choice for the company is to sharing some of the intellectual property and achieves a win-win situation instead of spending a lot of time and money to protect all intellectual property rights.
Global Operation:
The company could collaborate by taking advantage of global resources.

Openness:
Many companies have reservations on the network, sharing, and the attitude of the revitalization. It is mainly because the conventional wisdom considers that the company competes with others through the tight control of the most coveted resources. When we come to debate about Human Resources, the company tries the best to retain, hire, encourage and develop the talented people working for them since human resources are the basis of competition for enterprises. At present, the company obtaining the ideas and human resource from outside has more advantages than the enterprises rely solely on internal human resources.
Peering:
It refers to produce equal values between the enterprise and its employees, businesses and customers. The enterprise encourages and rewards to employees, the staff will be on loyal to the enterprise. On the contrary, employees have to work hard for the salary from the company. The company selling to the customer products will get feedback from the customers and will affect the customers themselves and their relatives and friends to make the choice for products of enterprise.

Wikinomics(Wiki Economics)
The book Wikinomics (Wiki Economics) is written by Don Tapscott and Anthony D. Williams who suggested that this could be derived devotion and work together to create something since large-scale collaboration is the most disruptive technology. Similar to Wikipedia, Wikinomics have four criteria: openness, peering, sharing, global operations.
At present, people could able to share knowledge, computing ability, bandwidth and other resources in order to create a wide range of products and services that any person may use or modify freely. Moreover, the people make its own contribution to the digital commons with a very low cost, which makes group collaboration more attractive. Therefore, peer production become into the current trend.

Phone in Understanding Media
Cell phone as a medium has its unique advantages. The first is rapid spread. Comparing newspapers, television, radio and even the Internet, cell phone could carries on the coverage of the incident and transmission anytime, anywhere. With gradual multiplication of phone functions, it is no longer limited to disseminate information by the text. Pictures, sounds and video, of course, are available for information transmission. To some extent, the speed of its spread is almost synchronous with the event, beyond other media. The second is that the mobile phone are super-convenient and delicate, which also make its reception mode of information dissemination from static to dynamic. Comparing with the newspaper, information content of mobile phone is simpler. Contrast with radio and television, the information storage is more convenient. Comparing with internet, its receiving terminal is more delicate. Thus, if the speed of mobile internet and compatibility issues can be solved technically, then the mobile phone becoming a major mass media will be just around the corner.

The Medium is the Message
Marshall McLuhan said that “the medium is the message”. The significance of using media is far beyond the specific information of transmission. For example, the impact of the Internet on our daily lives exceed what we can see the specific content on the Internet, and similarly, the role of mobile phones in our daily lives exceed information distribution. Mobile phone has a great impact on people’s lives and has changed people's lifestyles as well. People are no longer limited to receiving information in front of the TV or radio at home, and it is not necessary to seek the information on mass newspaper. Because the phone with a function of receiving information makes it possible to transfer the information anytime, anywhere; People are no longer passively receive information through media. The simple operation of mobile phone makes people steer this kind of medium easily. Thus we become the operator who could able to transmit the information.
Media are an extensions of man
Marshall McLuhan considered that media are an extensions of the human body. Appearance of any kind of new technologies or new media, they are an extension of human organs. Newspaper is an extension of the visual organ. Broadcasting is an extension of the auditory organ. Television is an extension of visual and auditory organs, and the computer internet is an extension of the human tactile, visual and auditory organs. Cell phone is an extension of all primary sense organ of human. It is because the mobile phone combines the functions of all the media, it is a blend of all the human sense organs including eyes, ears, hands, and mouth.

Assignment of Media and Economy
Design
Made by Yifei, Naseh and Ali
Video Remix,
30 Sec video advertisements
Corporate companies can put up competitions to make video advertisement for their brands. Users will be given set of characters and sceneries which they can choose from. Ad with most number of views and good aesthetics will be chosen by the company for TV and other media.
Dilemma of 3d animation is that many creative people have ideas in their heads but can’t put them to work because they lack basic skills. Even if you are skilled it is well known that drawing characters and then animating them takes a lot of time and effort.
The aim of video remix is to provide users with pre-made characters, props and environments, where they can use their own creativity and storylines to create short movies. Many of the advanced options will only be available to registered paid users.
Actors will have the following changeable properties
Actions
Postures
Dialogue
Camera Angles, Three basic cameras will be provided. This will be a long shot where once user has decided upon the script movie produced won’t be editable on the software.
Soundtrack of different genre would be provided like fast paced action, slow drama or romance to create a scenario. User can play around with the actors and the environment. It is very much like recording of video games but because users will have their own story lines its going to be their own video.
Some sort of easy to learn scripting language can be used for animation. Final product would be rendered put up for viewing in the video gallery.
Earning can be done from corporate brands where the pay to get their ads made by the users. Top 3 ads will be the property of the brand and the creators would be given royalty for that. We will charge nominal fee from the brands. Though users will be provided with number of characters and props they can also register and buy new characters and props. Same way artists can put up their models for sale. We will charge a nominal fee on every sale.
A forum will be available for discussion various issues regarding ad making.

Understanding media: The extensions of man
Cold Media
Cold media is an extension of the sense organs. They are media with a low-resolution and high-involvement, such as manuscripts, telephone, television, and spoken language. Because of its low resolution, it provides audience a chance to fill the missing information, and mobilize the audience re-creation capabilities. McLuhan believed that the audience should be positive recipients in the process of information transmission. There are some examples of cold media: Cartoon is a cold medium with a low-resolution, because several of the broad-brush pens provided little information. It requires the viewer to fill their own meaning or to complete the image in their mind. Phone calls with very little information provide to the ear, so it is cold medium. In cold media circumstances, the audience is in fact an active and integral part of the audio-visual experience.
I think the cold and hot media defined by McLuhan are ambiguous. It is inaccurate to distinguish the cold and media according to the clarity of pictures. McLuhan probably ignored the characteristics of the diversity of media content. So Mcluhan’s analysis lack of a standard. If the film is a hot medium, television is a cold medium, how to interpret the television film (with film production method, release through the medium of television) this form can not be simply divided using McLuhan’s definition of cold or hot media. In addition, there are many television programs with a clarity picture and sense of three-dimensional, these kinds of characteristics of television have completely ridded away the scope of cold media. Apart from some television programs focus on the audience participation, I think basically television is hot medium. Similarly, film is usually considered as hot medium coz the general feature films, science films can be understood as the high-definition form. However, the audience has been deeply engaged in some art films that belong to the cold medium.

Hot Media
Hot media, Marshall McLuhan mentioned on his book understanding media, is a high-resolution, and low-involvement media, such as radio, film. It provides audiences sufficient and vivid information. However, audiences have been deprived of opportunities for participation, and their information allows to release through the rigorous editing. Thus, the audiences can only passively receive information.
McLuhan cited some examples of hot media: photographs are high-definition. People do not need to fill in some of the content; broadcasting is hot medium, because it clearly and profoundly provides a large number of high-resolution auditory information. Teacher lecture is hot medium. The entire teaching process is clear, full, unidirectional transfer, in order to making students understand the information, and students are lowly involved in the information distribution.

The Medium is The Massage
The Medium is the Massage is the book wrote by Marshall Macluhasn. The medium is the massage. Coz the communication media shape the way human being think and observe the world around them. Media extend human’s senses and the nerves. At the same time, it brings something from human being. It is hard for human to realize deprivation and mutilation from media. It seems like opium which enslaved human with the way of gentle and consideration. Media attempted to empty our mind and filled in plenty of pleasure to us so that we don’t have sufficient time to realize what direction we need approach and what things we need to concern about.
In my opinion, media’s power is more than Marshall Macluhasn’s analysis of media. When we profoundly influenced by media, the significant things for us is how to make a person get rid of massage which bring a false feeling for us. Thus, person has a lot of time to go outside, have abundant exercise and gain real heath.

Chinese students protest against western biased news coverage
Chinese students conducted a protest against CNN news media that mislead the public about tibet independence event and also reported negative news related to torch line of Beijing Olympics .
March 14, 2008, the Tibetan capital Lhasa occurred in a series of vandalism and incidents of violence. . Bands of law breakers rage through the city, fighting the citizen cross by, robbing and destroying street-side shops and government agencies. These kinds of emergency caused the heavy losses to people’s lives and property. However, some Western media were completely contrary to the principles of justice and carried out a false report on this incident. On March 17, CNN web site for the first time published the pictures representing that Tibetan separatist threw stones to Chinese military vehicles, and distorted facts.
The videos about the Chinese students protest had been uploaded on the Youtube. There are many netizen who made their own statement and counterargument to the event.

Human & Technology
How homo representans digitalis (the digitally epresenting man) can have developed from earlier species
In the digital phase, people have utilized a lot of digital products which affect people's daily life. The earlier species are definitely never experience the impact and using experience brought from digital products. So, the digitally epresenting man have developed from earlier species.
Are we cyborgs Is there a difference between cyborgs and the technologically extended body
To answer this question, we have to explore what is the definition of “cyborgs”. According to the record from wikipedia, the definition of cyborgs is “A cyborg is a cybernetic organism (i.e., an organism that has both artificial and natural systems).”
I recognize that we are an organism that has both artificial and natural systems. Duo to the development of technology, we have a lot of possibility to enhance our ability (utilize laptop, phone, everything related to technology), and it can not be exist in an organism without the appearance of technology. These kinds of abilities that people hold could be considered as artificial systems. Of course we are natural systems. Thus I think that we are cyborgs.
Technologically extended body can also be explained as system that has been extended by the technology ways. For instance, the clothing as technology extends our skin, and the car as technology extends our legs. The technology try to help us to achieve ability that our physical body can’t be provided. These abilities can also be considered as artificial system. So I can’t find the difference between cyborgs and the technologically extended body.
What would change if we could install a computer under the skin and connect it with the brain
If the computer could perfectly melt into our body and become a part of our body, then I think human beings will be able to handle and store more information. Our daily itinerary will be arranged in a reasonable ways. If this becomes truth, mankind will inevitably enter a new era.
Housing as collective skin
Well… if the clothing as technology could extends skin, I think housing as technology production also can be a collective skin. I still think about questions that are what if we change or sell our housing or clothing; Does our housing or clothing could be regarded as collective skin? Can we continually change our extended skin?
Opposes the view that mind, body and technology are separate but interact. Holistic view: The body, mind and the technological extensions as one and the same system
What does interaction mean then
I think that our mind, body and technology are separate but interact. Because when we lose the function of one item, our system will still operate. For example, if we lose the function of our mind, we will still have physical activity. However, these physical activities are just instinctive reaction, rather than the implementation of the order from our brain. Similarly, when we lose body or the technology (extended body), we still have critical thinking, but our body can not enforce the order from our mind. Therefore, our system will still be operational when one of such items is dysfunction. So I think they are separate. Similarly, they interact. Mind gives a command, and body executes commands. For example, when we feel cold, the command from our mind is to wear clothes (extended mind) and then our body will implement the command of wearing clothes (extended body)

The Experience of Distant Collaboration
My experience of distance collaboration is extremely significant and interesting. Through the use of the network Skype, listening to the description about local environment from teammate, I have a general understanding to the place where my teammate live. I think that the distance collaboration is usually affected by the quality of network. For example, sometimes our distance collaboration gets stuck without sake, because the network is not smooth. One can not be denied that the distance collaboration have a totally different feelings with face to face collaboration. I think distance collaboration is also a way of human communication which makes communication more convenient. What we have done is to open the computer, and then access to skype. This is only thing we need to do to make collaboration works.

The art of interactive design
I have been reading a chapter in the art of interactive design: A euphonious and illuminating guide to building successful software written by Chris Crawford Which is what I taken from Google scholar. The title of chapter is speaking which is mainly about People could establish a link with a computer by using the way of speaking which is an interactive manner. Computer output information to people through two ways. One is visual, the other is ordinary. However, the fineness of the computer's output will not achieve the capacity of people's perception. Speaking was originally used for the exchange and communication between humankind. The author believes that the definition of interactivity can be expressed using the inputting processing outputting, rather than listening thinking speaking.
The authors in the chapter wrote that "the problem we face in getting computers to work better is not that humans need to become more computer-like, but that computers need to behave in a more human-like manner "(19)I couldn't agree with more. One can assume that if one becomes more computer-like, the computer not only loses its own role for communication, but also not works better. Therefore, we must impose people's ideas for the design process in order to enable this design to better serve human being. Every day we spend a long time on the speaking, and the speaking have been developed into various forms, such as novels, music, dance, film, and so on.
Computer software is also an expression of a computer, at the beginning, the visual and ordinary outputs of the computer itself are deficient, but now this problem has been resolved more or less, it is through the four kinds of ways to reflect the computer's expressive ability. 1pixel count 2 color depth 3 frame rate 4 sound output.
pixel count
In this paragraph, the author explains what is pixel, and how pixels constitute graphics. In addition, the relationship between screen size and the pixel count is presented with plenty of examples. I think this is very interesting, the author convinces the reader through the examples. Firstly, the text uses only 9282 pixels, we can observe that the text appeared on the display screen are not sharply defined. In the Same way, same text requires 32308 pixels. The text showing on the display screen is completely different. It looks clearer. One can understand that pixel determines the size and clarity of the image. To sum up, more pixels means more image
