The book Wikinomics (Wiki Economics) is written by Don Tapscott and Anthony D. Williams who suggested that this could be derived devotion and work together to create something since large-scale collaboration is the most disruptive technology. Similar to Wikipedia, Wikinomics have four criteria: openness, peering, sharing, global operations.
At present, people could able to share knowledge, computing ability, bandwidth and other resources in order to create a wide range of products and services that any person may use or modify freely. Moreover, the people make its own contribution to the digital commons with a very low cost, which makes group collaboration more attractive. Therefore, peer production become into the current trend.
